At k9bu dog training we provide specialized in home training through out San Diego and North county. Using positive reinforcement and science-based methods, we help dogs of all ages. No matter the temperament or background, we’ve got you covered.

3 Pack training session - $400

Get help with helping you prepare your pet for a new baby. You can also fix any obedience concern, such as jumping on guests at the door, counter surfing, teaching your dog to walk nicely on leash, and teaching basic manners. This package may be customized for your specific needs. You, your dog, and your trainer will meet once per week. Each lesson is 60 minutes in length.

Hi I’m Jonathan David Lopez, I’ve worked with thousands of dogs and I’m certified by an international organization in dog behavior. I can provide recognized science based answers. In addition to working with my own clients, I’ve been an expert witness in dog bite lawsuits and have educated numerous other trainers working as a contractor for Large established dog training organizations throughout southern California. I’ve also worked for the Navy as the class instructor on Coronado’s amphibious island for the enlisted personal.
I will help you answer the hard questions for you and your dog. Why is my dog aggressive on leash and good with dogs in the dog park, Why isn’t my dog learning? Why doesn’t my dog feel safe? What are the differences between how my dog thinks about things vs how they feel about things. It’s so important to understand as much as we can what is happening in the brain of your dog so we can provide better learning experiences.
